Terran Hegemony

Founded in 2315 by James McKenna and ruled from Terra by House Cameron, the Terran Hegemony was the most technologically advanced and prosperous nation humanity had ever built. It was the golden seed from which the first Star League itself would grow.

The Terran Hegemony reunited the heart of human space around Old Terra and raised it to unmatched heights. Under the Cameron dynasty it became the technological and economic pinnacle of the Inner Sphere — the birthplace of the advances that would later be mourned as “lostech,” and home to the finest schools, factories, and shipyards in existence. Its military set the standard others could only imitate, and its wealth and stability made it the natural leader of humanity. It was the Hegemony’s dream, carried by Ian Cameron, that became the Star League: a union of all the Great Houses under Terran leadership. For players and readers, the Hegemony represents humanity at its most advanced and optimistic — the high-water mark of technology and the direct ancestor of the Star League’s golden age.

The Hegemony’s golden age is detailed in The Star League sourcebook, Era Report: 2750, while the Historical: Liberation of Terra line chronicles its fall; the Master Unit List builds period-correct Hegemony and early Star League forces.
